National Theatre Live: Nye  - Shown in two parts,  Part 1 - 77 mins & Part 2 - 68 mins.  English, 2024
From campaigning at the coalfield to leading the battle to create the NHS, Aneurin ‘Nye’ Bevan is often referred to as the politician with greatest influence on our country without ever being Prime Minister. Confronted with death, Nye’s deepest memories lead him on a mind-bending journey back through his life, from childhood to mining underground, Parliament and fights with Churchill in an epic Welsh fantasia.
Michael Sheen reprises his role as Nye Bevan in this celebration of the life and legacy of the man who transformed Britain’s welfare state returns to the Olivier following a sell-out run.

Abandoned Railways from Above ~ Aberystwyth to Carmarthen - 45 mins, English, 2024
Episode 4 in the series exploring various lost railway lines across Britain, highlighting their unique stories and the landscapes they traversed. Travel along a line in Wales that connected rural communities and helped industries boom, from Aberystwyth to Carmarthen, via the eerie ruins of a once-thriving milk factory. The line was particularly significant for rural communities and the booming textile and dairy industries in the region as well as featuring the Vale of Rheidol Railway, a narrow gauge heritage railway that runs between Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge.  Shown courtesy of Channel 4

Pouring Water on Troubled Oil ~ Dylan Thomas in Abadan - 26 mins,  English, 2023
Popular Welsh poet Dylan Thomas encounters a world of oil, exploitation and political upheaval, in this poetic film charting his haunting journey through Iran in 1951, on an assignment to write a script for the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. Directed by Nariman Massoumi, narrated by Michael Sheen.  Shown courtesy of S4C

Patagonian Bones - 55 mins   Welsh, Spanish & English, 2015
In 2025 it will be 160 years since Welsh settlers arrived in Patagonia. Their descendants still live in southern Argentina. But not all the settlers survived – discovered bones may be those of Catherine Roberts, the first Welsh woman to die in Patagonia. This film tells us how a set of human remains may close the circle on a fascinating story that spans half the globe.  Director / Writer / Producer: Ricardo Preve,
